I read the blurb and knew it was probably going to make me sob (it did). The reviews I read said it was very emotional and a “tear-jerker” 3. Colleen Hoover’s past books have been very emotional. I was dreading it, just a bit, because I knew it would be emotional for many reasons. I was both anxiously anticipating this book and dreading reading it at the same time. Kenna must find a way to absolve the mistakes of her past in order to build a future out of hope and healing. The two form a connection despite the pressure surrounding them, but as their romance grows, so does the risk.
